Ossama Banaja is the Chief Investment Officer at SEDCO Holding, a role held since March 2021. He leads the company’s investment strategy across direct investments, overseeing portfolio development, value creation, and capital deployment. He has over 20 years of experience in private equity and investment banking, with a strong track record of executing complex transactions and driving strategic growth initiatives. Prior to joining SEDCO Holding, Ossama Banaja served as Director of Domestic Holding Investments at the Public Investment Fund (PIF), where he was responsible for developing greenfield investment strategies in new sectors within KSA. Earlier in his career, he was Vice President of Private Equity at Jadwa Investment, leading multiple investments and post-acquisition value creation programs. He also held the position of Assistant Vice President at Partners Group, focusing on direct private equity co-investments and due diligence.
Ossama is currently serving on multiple boards and executive committees, including Saudi Economic and Development Securities Company (SEDCO Capital), United International Transportation Company (Budget Saudi Arabia), ELAF Group, Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance Company and AlAndalus Education Company.
Ossama holds an MBA in Finance and Business Law from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Boston University.
